  We arrived at Tamarit late 11/8/2015, so we when out to find a place to eat, come upon this wonderful Restaurant/Takeaway, the food was very nice, would come back again when we are in the area.

  I've been visiting Granja Sant Francesc for over 30 years, always impressed with the friendly service (it's been in the same family for that time) but above all with the taste of the chicken. Known as "Chicken Charlie's", the polleria has this marvellous coating that does so much to enhance the chicken as it turns slowly on the spit. "Charlie" has a deft hand at cutting the birds into halves or quarters - and his fries are also a treat.

  You sit half outside, watching the traffic lights change on an almost deserted N340A, on stone benches and at tiled tables. Service is good, prices pretty fair and there's a discount if you opt for takeaway. But it's the taste of those herbs and spices that leave Colonel Saunders standing.

  Superb dinner! Famous chicken didn't disappoint. Also chose calçots (battered spring onions) with special tomato sauce, baby octopus dish, roasted vegetables, spaghetti bolognese and chips. Great meal

  We booked a tabel for 8:00. We had to wait an extra 45 minutes and the food wasn't even there.
